You know, the best part about renting a limo is the backseat. Bette said as she casually traced circles on Tinas inner thigh. Its much bigger than the one in your little Honda, dont you think?
Tina nodded, her body heat rising.
I mean, you could lay down on the seat with no problem. Theres plenty of room. Bette said as she carefully pushed Tina down on the black leather, running another hand up her shirt, teasing the nipple poking through the tight tank top.
God Bette...
Whats the matter, T? Bette whispered in Tinas ear, sure to let her breath linger, blowing softly.
Tina didnt respond with words, but instead she pulled Bette closer towards her, bringing her in for a long kiss. It wasnt a slow kiss or a graceful kiss, but it was a fury of passion, built up and pent up for too long. They kissed as if for the first time, letting their bodies take full control over all their thoughts. Unfortunately it was short lived.
There was a knock on the window and the driver rolled down the divider just enough to say something. Ladies?
Bette immediately sat up. Yes? Her voice was muffled and an octave too high.
Um... I just received a call letting me know theyre ready for you at the reception. Should we head out?
Yes, thats fine. Thank you. Bette replied as she smiled at the driver who was grinning in the rear view mirror at them.
Tina pulled herself up and straightened out her shirt, face red from both embarrassment and desire.
When they finally arrived at the reception, Alice was outside waiting for them.
Where have you two been? Alice demanded.
Bette and Tina glanced at each other, holding back smiles and shrugged.
Alice arched her eyebrows as Tinas face reddened again. Oh, I get it... a little pent up energy after the last few weeks? Save it for tonight ladies. Theres a bar full of people wanting to party with you.
She dragged them inside the cozy bar where they had decided to have the reception. It was a very nontraditional bar. It wasnt dirty or smoky, but it had couches and was a little more upscale. Food was set up as a casual buffet with the cake in the corner. The lights were low and cast a blue glow and the tables all had foil stars glittering with paper squares and pens. That was Alices idea. A large glass bowl was placed by the presents and cards, and everyone was to write a small note on the pieces of paper and put them in the bowl. It was a big hit. Little flowers were made out of tissue paper and votives were placed inside with candles lit.
When Bette and Tina walked in everyone stopped what they were doing and cheered.
Bette took Tinas hand. Thank you everyone! We are so glad you could all make out to celebrate with us tonight. Have fun. Eat lots of food and enjoy all the drinks you want!
More cheering erupted and the band started playing. Bette and Tina began mingling through crowds of people, together at first, but after a while they separated, visiting. But they would catch each others eyes across the room and wink and smile. Tina ran into her parents.
Mom, dad thanks for coming. Tina said awkwardly.
They looked at her closely before responding. Finally after a long pause, her dad hugged her and squeezed her tight. Tina, I will always love you, no matter what.
Her mother hugged her as well and smiled. We wanted to be here today for you. We love you.
Tinas eyes welled up with tears and got her parents a drink, holding back from bursting out in sobs. Her day couldnt get any better. Her parents stayed for not too much longer, feeling a little out of place not knowing anybody.
Before they knew it, the time had come to cut the cake and Bette and Tina were summoned by Alice to the table. They held onto the knife together and made a clean slice, dishing out a piece for each other. Bette fed Tina first, being very polite and sweet. But when Tina fed Bette, she shoved a huge piece into her mouth, smearing frosting all over her face, causing everyone to cheer and roar with laughter. Bette pulled Tina in and gave her a big kiss, getting frosting all over her face as well.
Everything about Bette and Tinas wedding was nontraditional, even the reception. They didnt partake in the usual wedding dances and other traditions. Instead, they focused on visiting with everyone and having fun. Bars were always fun. Bette and Tina did dance, though after the cake was eaten. They drank, danced and partied with all of their loved ones, making this day memorable for all who attended. As the evening wore on, Bette and Tina were in a corner, whispering and talking to each other closely.
Tinas hand slid down to Bettes rear, unnoticed by everyone except Bette. What do you say we get out of here?
Bette grinned and nodded motioning to Alice who quickly pranced across the room, obviously taking advantage of the open bar.
Whats up ladies?
Were ready to go. Bette said.
I bet you are! I wont make you hold out any longer. Hang on. Alice made her way to the center of the room, whistling shrilly.
Can I have your attention! She waited until it was quiet. Unfortunately our two brides will be leaving us now to attend to more important matters.
Everyone chuckled and Bette and Tina blushed.
I know we all wish them well so lets cheer them on as they leave.
Bette and Tina grabbed hands and headed towards the door amongst cheering and quick hugs. When they stepped outside, the limo awaited them, painted Just Married all over it, balloons tied down.
At the hotel, they checked in and headed towards their room. They werent leaving for the actual honeymoon until the next morning when they would leave for Hawaii for a week. The room was huge and overlooked the ocean. They had a balcony where they could watch the stars while listening to the crash of the waves on the shore.
