"Congratulations!" Alice cheered. Everyone had come over for family night to meet Jake and Caro and they had just heard the news of the engagement. They were all sitting in the living room drinking beer (except for Bette who had juice).

"Thanks Alice," Tina said.

"Wow you're moving so fast," Shane said, "but I can see you two love each other very much."

"I couldn't be happier baby sis," Kit said kissing Bette's cheek.

"Damn Kit you haven't changed a bit," Jake said.

"I've gotten older," Kit said.

"Have you heard anything from your ungrateful son?" Jake said rolling his eyes.

Bette laughed, Jake never liked David.

Kit shook her head, "he refuses to see me."

"His loss," Jake said.

"That's exactly what I said," Bette said.

Kit smiled, "I've missed you Jakey."

"So did I cuz," Jake said.

"I didn't think you'd remember me, you and I had met at our wedding," Carolyn said.

"And I was drunk," Kit said sadly, "I'm sorry about that."

"It's okay, I understand," Caro said.

"I do remember you though," Kit said.

"Hey since I'm the only guy in the group, can I be the best man?" Jake said.

Everyone laughed loudly. Jenny commented, "you really shouldn't have said that."

"Soooooooo," Alice screeched, "who's gonna be your maid of honor!"

"Oh here we go," Tasha said rolling her eyes.

Shane shrugged, "she's gonna insist until you tell her."

"Wait a minute," Helena interjected, "before you decide, you should keep in mind that you have a friend who's a millionaire and rather spend her money on her friends than anyone else."

Jenny chuckled, "wanna buy me a laptop then."

"Mac or PC?"

"Shit you're serious!" Jenny said in surprise, "uh I was joking."

"But I wasn't," Helena said looking at Tina and licking her lips.

"Oooowwww!" Helena screeched grabbing her shin where Bette's cane had hit her.

"Baby why'd you hit her?" Tina laughed.

"She deserved it," Bette warned.

"See I would NEVER do that!" Alice argued, "plus I have more time to plan things while Helena barely has time to breathe."

"Alright you two that's enough," Tasha said, "let Bette and Tina decide this on their own."

"Thanks Tasha they were giving me a headache," Shane commented.

"It was pretty funny though," Jenny said.

"I think it's obvious who will be chosen here," Kit said smugly.

"And we have a winner!" Caro cheered.

"Ladies and...ladies, presenting the new Maid of Honor, Kiiiiiittttt Porterrrrr!" Jake said in a deep announcer voice.
