She washed and rinsed her long hair, then piled it up on top of her head. She then left Jenny to soak out some of those worries.
Marina stood against the doorframe for a moment, just watching Jenny sleep. Her head resting on the side of the tub. God, she was beautiful. She knew at that very moment that she was feeling the closest thing to love she had ever felt. And she was also trying to hold back the horrible feeling that she had ruined this young girls life. But, she couldnt think about it now. Jenny was dreaming. Dreaming of making love to MarinaIn a solid white room, draped in white fabric. The windows open, curtains blowing. Only their naked bodies lying entwined. Feeling a oneness that she could never feel with Tim. Strong hands on her shoulders woke her. She smiled up at Marina. Before she thought better of it, she took Marinas hand in hers. Turning it over, she placed one sweet kiss on the palm. Marina let her hand slide across Jennys face, her thumb grazing her cheek. She pulled away and took a thick robe down for Jenny.
Walking into the kitchen area, Jenny could smell the rice, chicken and vegetables Marina had ordered. Silently, they sat to eat. Though she was trying not to stare, Marina noticed how much effort it was taking for Jenny to lift the fork to her mouth. She had become too weak to even feed herself and the hot bath didnt help. She moved her chair closer to Jennys and began to feed her slowly.
When Jennys yawns were getting more frequent than the bites, Marina led her to the guest bedroom. Though it was midday, Jenny knew she could sleep now. She felt safe. It was the first time she had felt safe since she awoke to find Tims wedding band on the table beside her. Everything had been upside down since then. But now, this wonderful, beautiful woman was helping her into a soft gown. And everything seemed okay as she slid beneath the sheets.
Marina tried to busy herself around the apartment. She tried to catch up on some paperwork. She tried to write. She tried to not check on Jenny every five minutes. She just couldnt stop herself. Jenny looked like a beautiful, raven-haired angel. As night fell, Marina found herself exhausted. She made a plate of fruit and cheeses and left it out, just in case Jenny woke hungry. She went in one last time, just to check on her. She was sleeping on her back, a half smile on her soft full lips. Marina leaned in and pressed a sweet kiss on them. Jenny didnt stir. Marina tucked the blanket around Jenny like a mother would her most precious child. She whispered goodnight, and went to her own bed.
Marinas night was restless at best. She kept seeing Jenny in that bath. This time, as she visualized it, the hands had a much different purpose. She thought of sliding her hands into that thick hair. The way her nipples hardened when she let the silk gown drop down the length of her body.
