Bette went to the coolers; she got 2 drinks and then went for her blanket and walked away with Tina.
“Where are we going? Aren’t we going to stay here with them?” Tina asked Bette.
“No, I’m not going to let you be surrounded by our drunken friends. We are going to lie on the grass,” said Bette putting the blanket down on the grass. Tina giggled and snuggled to Bette when she lay down.
“You want a soda?” Bette asked Tina.
“No, thank you. I just want to sleep here in your arms,” said Tina snuggling more into Bette.
Both were asleep in no time. Soon came morning, Bette and Tina woke until noon. It was Bette who woke up first and saw the time. She didn’t want to wake Tina up. So she kept looking at the angel in her arms until she woke up. After an hour Tina finally woke up, when she opened her eyes she saw Bette staring at her.
“What are you looking at?” Tina asked Bette.
“At the most beautiful woman on this planet,” said Bette.
“Not this universe?”Tina asked playing. Bette laughed and then started tickling Tina.
“Okay! Okay, I give up,” Tina said laughing and Bette stopped tickling her.
“Well we need to get you home,” said Bette smiling.
“Why?”
“Because, it’s already noon. And I don’t want to start a bad relationship with your mother.”
“It doesn’t matter. My mother already loves you,” said Tina holding Bette tighter.
“Well, then I would like for her to keep loving me,” said Bette getting up. Tina immediately got up.
“Are you trying to get rid of me?”
“No! I’m trying to be responsible.”
“Why?”Tina asked surprised.
“Well, everybody has to be responsible.” Tina started laughing and walked up to Bette. She stopped her from doing what she was doing and wrapped her arms around Bette’s waist.
“Thank you,” said Tina.
“You’re thanking me now?” Bette asked surprised.
“Yeah, for taking care of me. For not wanting me to get in trouble with my mother,” Tina said giving Bette a peck on the lips. Bette smiled and then they got all their stuff so that they could go home. When Bette and Tina got to the court everybody was still wiped out. Bette decided she would just take Tina home and then go home herself.
