“You’re happy,” said Tina coming to sit next to Bette on the bench.
“Yeah, I’m glad that you’re with me,” said Bette taking Tina in her arms.
“When are the others coming?” Tina asked Bette.
Bette let out a sigh:”They are probably going to be late, they always are.”
“Really? Then why did you want to come early?” Tina asked coming to face Bette.
“I always come early. That way I have some time alone to look at the stars,” said Bette pointing to the sky. Tina snuggled closer to Bette and Bette held Tina tighter.
“I wish we could stay like this forever,” Tina said.
“Yeah, me too.”
Alice’s House:
After they agreed to do the camping Alice, Dana, Shane and Carmen went to Alice’s house. Carmen didn’t want to talk with Shane. She just agreed to come to the house, because she needed a lift.
“Okay, so I basically have everything here already no need to go buy drinks,” said Alice looking into her fridge. Shane sat on the counter and was looking at Carmen who was busy talking to Dana. Alice noticed this.
“Okay, so I’m going to freshen up. Dana, why don’t you come with me?”
“Okay,” said Dana smiling. Carmen knew now that she would be left alone with Shane. After Alice and Dana left it become really silent and uncomfortable. Shane decided to break the silence.
“So, how’s it going?” Shane asked Carmen coming closer to her.
“Stay away from me Shane,” said Carmen walking away from Shane.
“Can we please talk?” Shane asked taking hold of Carmen’s arm.
“Talk? What is there to talk about? You cheated on me, with Jenny!”
“I know and I’m really sorry,” said Shane rubbing her head.
“You’re sorry? I’m the stupid one. I shouldn’t have gotten involved with you. Everybody warned me about you. They told me that eventually you would cheat on me. It’s who you are.”
“No, it’s not who I am” said Shane trapping Carmen pushing her against the wall.
“Shane please, just let me go.”
“No, I can’t. You mean too much too me.”
“If I meant that much to you, then why did you cheat?”
“I was drunk and I didn’t know what I was doing. I don’t even remember doing it with her. You’re the only one I care about. I love you,” said Shane trying to tell Carmen her feelings.
“You love me?”
“Yeah, I’ve never felt this way about anyone.
