Bette held on to Gen’s hand, not willing to let go. Gen bent over and dropped a kiss on Bette’s forehead. “We’ve got to load her up and bring her to the hospital,” the paramedic said to Gen.
Bette looked at Gen, “Please don’t leave me alone with them.”
Gen smiled at Bette, looking deeply into her eyes, “I'm not going anywhere.”

“Please go home after you’re done with the report, and take tomorrow off as well,” Shane said to Gen as she walked into Gen’s office, “I want you to get some rest, after everything that has happened, you shouldn’t even be in today.”
Gen looked up and smiled faintly, “Thanks Shane, I will after this.”
Gen needed work to distract her; she had just too many thoughts running through her mind. She was in a state of melancholy, a part of her was relieved that she had successfully closed her first case and Bette was safe, but a part of her was feeling…even she didn’t know how to place her random emotions.
She wanted to head to the hospital to see Bette. After last night, Gen had gone home and taken a shower before coming into work to start on her report. She was feeling a little woozy from the lack of sleep.

“So what’s bugging you?” Jin asked as she watched Gen sit down across from her. Gen looked at her buddy and sighed, she did not quite know how to put what she felt across in words, “Let’s order first, shall we?” she managed to say, “I desperately need coffee, I had a long night.”
“How’s Bette doing.” Jin said.
