“Sounds great Jean, do you need any assistance?”  Jean waved Bette off and laughed.

“Oh Bette, I am fine, just sit there and Tina, get some drinks for us?”  Tina got up and got them all water and beers for dinner.  Bette loved the ease that the house had and how everyone knew their place.  The guest just sat and everyone was busy.  Earl came in with a salad bowl set that was made out of mahogany.  It was a beautiful work of art, is what Bette saw and stood up. 

“Wow, Earl that is just so beautiful.”  Bette took the set and stared for a good while.  The set had etchings of different designs of just squibbles people would think, but it was a formation that made art.  Bette wanted to discuss with Earl his other pieces if he had any to show a small show for him.  They weren’t something you eat out of, but something you just placed out and stared at.

“Bette, don’t get any ideas.  Dad and wood is a hobby, not a lifestyle.” 

“I have to agree with her on that Bette.  I do it for fun and for my family.  This set is for you both.  I had thought it was for Tina and then I understood what was up when she said we need a new bowl set.  You will use these to eat and not display.”  Earl winked at Bette.

“I am glad my work is appreciated though.  Shall we toast ladies?”  Earl had a his glass up.

“To the Kennards, best luck for finding beautiful woman in their lives and to Bette…Bette for making daughter so happy and free.  I have never seen Tina so relaxed…please tell me you play soccer too?”  Everyone laughed and clanked glasses.  The dinner went by with ease and ooo’s and ahhh’s over how the food tasted and was disappearing.  Desert was gone too and then, Bette got up to get the Dali for Tina.

“Tina, babe, come here.”  Tina and Bette went outside to the car.  I brought your parents something.  I had thought about a painting from Horowitz, but this way better….Holy cow, was a that a shooting star?”  Bette exclaimed and noticed there were no city lights, just darkness and the billion star show above.  “Whoa, wow!”  Tina pulled herself closer to Bette and kissed her solidly on the lips.  Moaning and grabbing her ass, she wanted Bette there.

“mmm baby, I love you…I am so glad this night is almost over..lets go soon, I want to see you naked and wet.”  Tina snaked her tongue into Bette’s and moaned.
