She set up the ball and looked at the keeper. She looked at Bette with angst and wanted to take her out again. Bette aimed for the left and was going to go right. ‘Please go in, shit, please.’ Bette aimed down, ‘tits down Bette.’ Bette looks up and sees the ball soar in. “YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” The team came running at Bette and picked her up. The ref blew his whistle, the game was over. “Nice job Bette, two goals for your first game..you are on our team now. Plus we are first place now!!!!!!!” Lara patted her on the back. “ I knew you could do it!” Dana hugged Bette and she winced. “Dane, sorry I think it is broken..oh god ow.” Bette got placed down carefully and was examined by their trainer.
“Nope, not broken, you are lucky. Badly bruised. Gonna be a bitch of a pain, you are fine though. Lucky, but fine. Tina, take good care of our new striker.” The trainer winked at her and patted her leg.
“Take some Tylenol pm for pain if you can’t sleep and ice. Not much else you can do. Broken would be worse, sorry Bette, great game though, you have balls.” Tina laughed. “Yea she does huh? Wow, Bette I can’t believe you just took the keeper like that, it was so awesome and scary.” Tina was so scared when Bette just crumpled after she shot her goal. “I was so happy and freaked.” Bette pulled Tina close and winced. “Well, ohh, it was worth it. Now I can play every week right?” She kissed Tina softly on her lips.
