“I don’t talk about this usually, it’s usually the scaring off topic.  I understand if you want to leave, its hard to comprehend.”  Bette said this confidence and fear and hoping that Tina was different, which of course she was.  Tina lifted Bette’s chin and kissed Bette on her lips softly.  “Bette, of course I am here and want to be there and help you find answers.”  Bette so surprised by the words and love, she began to cry more.  It was a relief and a tension release for Bette.  Tina just held Bette tighter and whispered loving thoughts to her.  After a bit Bette looked up..”Fuck babe, work..ugh.”  “Babe I called in sick when you passed out again.”  Tina pushed away a hair on Bette’s face.  “Oh..well I am the owner of my gallery.  Let me call James and tell him I am out as well.  Want to go to the beach?”  Tina nodded as she got up to jump in the shower.  “Call James, quick shower and beach, ok?  Don’t forget tonight is your debut as a soccer player.  We need to get you cleats and stuff.”  Bette gulped, ‘Great she didn’t forget.  Of course not, soccer is her life..fuck Porter!’  Bette was worried that she would suck, worse Tina would be emabarassed of her.

“Bette, you will be fine tonight and if anything, you will improve with time and practice!” 

“What makes you think I will need practice eh?”  Bette was kind of talking shit, so she didn’t want to push her luck here.   “Uh, ok, we will see right?”  Tina laughed.  “Yes, babe and either way I love you.”  Bette was sure of the love…but her soccer skills?
