Cora looked into Bette’s sincere dark eyes and nodded. And sobbed again. Bette smiled. " Good. You’re gonna be ok. I promise", Bette said softly.
"So what do we do now?", Cora asked.
"We finish breakfast", Tina smiled. "And then we just relax. You just need a chance to just be. To figure out what you want to do. Where you want to live. And we’re going to help you in any way we can."
"I’ll have to call Jenkins back", Bette said. " He’s your mom’s lawyer. He needs to know that it’s ok to move ahead with the arrangements. Is that ok?", Bette asked gently. Cora wiped a tear from her cheek and nodded with a forced smile.
Bette left to make the call in privacy but Richard followed behind. Sensing his presence and stifling a smile she asked, "how are the boys?".
"The boys?", Richard asked.
Bette hid her smile and turned to face him. He stopped short for fear of running into her. She folded her arms across her chest and quickly glanced below his belt with raised eyebrows. Richard crimsoned slightly. "Oh ‘the boys’. They’re...ok. That was quite a move. If you ever get tired of the art thing let me know. I bet I could find you some work."
"Good to have options", Bette said with a smirk. She turned again to continue walking with Richard again following.

"You don’t have to", Bette interrupted. "It’s never going to happen again right? You know that Tina is not interested in you. Right? You know that it’s unacceptable to me, and to her, for you to cop feels or whatever the hell you want to call it whenever the opportunity presents itself.
