Previously - Tina walked into the house that she had shared with Bette, she missed her wife so much that it was hurt. She may have told those people that Bette was gone, and had gone fighting, but in Tina’s heart Bette wasn’t gone, and she would not believe it until she had seen proof for herself.
At the moment Tina just saw it that Bette was Missing…
*Chapter 2*
Take place six months after *Chapter 2*
Tina had been told that Bette was gone six month to this very day. She had mourned the loss of her wife, in theory. However she still did not believe that Bette was dead, she was merely missing. The British Authorities had said that Bette had been identified by her dental records, but Tina knew that there could have been a mistake.
They had only been checked once and Tina had not been allowed to get someone else to check, it was against British Government policy. Tina believed that Bette was alive, and until she saw proof she would not believe it.
It broke her heart that everyday her daughter asked were her Mamma B was, or when she walked along the street with her family and photographers took a picture, she hated the fact that people that never knew Bette called her foolish for what she had done, but the thing that she hated the most was the fact that she didn’t have her soul mate to talk to and to hold when she was upset or to that when their children asked for their Mamma B she could go get her. Tina wanted Bette back and she would do anything to get her back, unless she really was dead.
Tina sat on the living room floor and watched as Lucas painted another painting of his Mamma B. This would be the 50th painting that he had done of her since Tina had told the children that she was gone, Lucas was like Bette in every way.
Angelica sat playing with her dolls, on her 6th birthday Angelica had asked for one present, the only thing that Tina couldn’t get her. Angelica had told her Mommy and her aunties, “For my birthday can I have Mamma B back?” Tina had tried to explain that she wasn’t coming back and Angelica had burst into tears,
“But I am good, like Mamma B told me, why is she not coming home, I wont cry and I will eat all my food, even the col-i-flowers” Angelica hung her head and rubbed her eyes.
Tina had tried to tell her that Mamma B was gone and not coming back, but her children knew her to well and noticed that Tina looked at the door in hope every time in opened and that Tina didn’t really believe that Bette was gone.
As Tina sat and watched her children who she saw so much of Bette in play on the floor the phone went. She got up and walked to the phone, she picked up,
“Hello”
“Tee… Help Me. No.” With that the phone went dead.
