“Helena, Hi”
“Hi boss lady.”
“Helena this is Dana, Dana this is Helena.”
“Hi Helena it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Likewise Dana.”
“Now I know you guys don’t know much about this so I’m going to prep you now.”
Both women shook their heads.
“Basically what’s going down is Helena is going to be following you around, taking notes on what its like to be an up and coming tennis star. She be there through all the publicity, press, photos then whole deal. She has special orders not to get in the way she will just be observing. Then when we get back based on the outcome of the match she will be doing a follow up interview. She will then write an article based on what she has seen, both I and Dana will be reading it, and if we approve, John has to approve then it will go to print. Everyone clear.”
“So is Helena not to interact with me at all?”
“She can if you want her to.”
“That fine with me.”
“Well if everyone is good then really should get going Dana has to be checked in by 1:30.”
“I’m going to follow you in my car is that okay?”
“That’s fine.”
“Let’s go.”
Alice and Helena got up from the table and started walking out not realizing Dana hadn’t got up from the table yet. Alice went back into get her.
“Dane, babe, we can't really get this show on the road without you.”
“What, oh yea.”
“You okay baby?”
“Yea I’m just nervous and scared.”
“That’s to be expected, but babe your going to be great.”
“Alice this is going to possibly change my life and your apart of that now, are your really going to be with me, when I’m on tour weeks, months at a time?”
“Dana of course I will, this is you life and I knew that going into this. It will be rough but we will get through it.”
“I don’t want you to feel you have to stay, I want you to be happy even if its not with me.”
“Dana don’t talk like that I’m not going anywhere, you have enough to worry about.”
“I love you Alice.”
“I love you too.”
Dana stood up and walked out of the Planet hand in hand with Alice. They headed up state not knowing what the future had in store for them.
