“That will be fine but I need to know but this time tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

“Keep up the great work Alice.”

Alice walked out of the office really happy and really nervous. She didn’t know if Dana would like the idea of someone following her around. Dana wasn’t your typical tennis star she really didn’t like the attention.

Dana was take a mid morning break when her manager called her into his office.

“Dana, how are you?”

“I’m doing great, how are yourself.”

“I’m doing great.”

“Please sit down.”

Dana sat down feeling a little nervous.

“Are you going to be ready for Saturday?”

“As ready as I can be.”

“Great.”

“Yes.”

“Now Dana we have an opportunity here that I think we should consider.”

“Okay, what is it.?”

“There is a local Magazine called LA Magazine.”

A smile crept across Dana’s face.

“They want a writer to follow you around, and do a story on you about this weekend. I think this will be great for exposure.”

“I don’t know do you know who the writer will be.”

“They haven’t told me that yet.”

“What the hell what harm could it do.”

“Good that’s what I want to hear. Now get back to training.”

“Will do.”

“Oh and Dana?”

“Yea.”

“Good Luck this weekend.”

“Thank you.”

Dana went back out onto the court. She couldn’t but help think that Alice had something to do with this and was the writer that they were going to send. Dana would love for Alice to come with her; she would be the only support that Dana would need the whole weekend. The thought had come to mind once before of asking Alice to come with but Dana didn’t know if she really would be interested. She would have to see later what Alice knew about this whole thing.

“Everything alright Fairbanks?’

“Yea just some publicity stuff you know how it is.”

“Yea just don’t let it get to you head.”

“I won’t.”

“Good now lets finish up here.”

“Good idea.”

It was a pretty intense end to training, but Dana really needed it. She showered and headed home. Alice had a pretty simple day at work however she wanted to leave a bit early so she could be there when Dana got home. The two women really need to talk about this both of them had there concerns about it. Alice got home before Dana she was in the kitchen when she heard Dana come through the door.

“Al I’m home.”
