Fran twisted her brows as she tried to understand this entire dialogue, as she recalled those things which Bette had said about Alice’s character.
“Um…well, I think you certainly…. dated yourself Alice.”
Alice dropped the eggplant a little harder than she should have, smiled and walked away, not realizing the eggplant fell to the floor, where the produce manager retrieved it, shook his head and placed it back on the shelf.
Fran chuckled as she selected a bag of shredded carrots for her salad and continued on with her shopping.

Hey, Chicki is it Saturday yet? Good to see Angie talking with Cindy, thats got to be a heavy load to carry, and I can understand the feeling of guilt. If Angie truly knew and understood Tina she would know that Tina would have gladly sacrificed her life for that of her child, in fact I don't know many parents that wouldn't.

That Al is a firecracker chicki,and loved how you wrote her out,,,,I see that Ciny had made a good progress with Angie and that is great cause kids either like or hate you and espcially when you have to earn their trust. I see that Fran is scared cause having T's pics in the bedroom is not healthy for Bette anymore, espcially when she is starting a new relationship and its looking like its going to be intimate. Angie is doing a great job at opening up. Hopefully, at some point she will accept that she had no part in Tina's death. Glad to see Bette attempt to move forward. We will see if it actually happens at this time. In the meantime she should spend as much time with Angie as possible after this therapy session because I'm sure Angie's emotions will still be overwhelming. Maybe Kit can help her through some of this as well.

LOL! You know how much I enjoy this story. I love how Bette and Fran have been building this relationship slowly. Fran has been supportive, kind and loving when it comes to Bette and Angelica. Becoming friends before lovers is so important in a long, term relationship. I think more couples would stay together if we all started with that foundation. Cindy offered Angelica a relaxing enviroment for Angelica to share her feelings about Tina. It's important to make sure Angelica truly understands that she was not responsible for Tina's death. I'm sure Cindy will continue to reinforce that throughout their sessions. What is with Alice's hair ? A "cow lick" ROFLMAO! I have never heard that term before but it was hilarious. Ciao bella.

Hey Chicki-doll, HEre I am back to a limited degree after the BIG move. Who knew I could fill so many boxes with so much crap. Okay enough about me and on to you and this awesome adventure. As for your comments about a "Soulmate" I believe that it is a primal bond; the fitting together of two halves to make a whole. Someone who makes you want to be a better person; someone who you would mountains for; someone you would willing give up your life for. Yes, the phsyical connect is essential but not the be all and end all. Someone who challenges and accepts you on all levels; emotionally, spiritually, mentally as well as physically is true a "soulmate". I don't follow that there is only one person who can fulfill this role because as humans we change and adapt constantly. The real trick is to find someone on the same path and complete the journey together. On to this terrific tale: Fantastic to see the Bette is now comfortable enought with Fran and Angelica to be prepared to begin an intimate relationship with Fran. The simple offer of a meal and some time without Angelica speaks volumes. Bette is slowly and tentatively coming out of the haze and ready to experience the wonders the world has to offer. Loved the therapy session as Cindy started softly and is now beginning to delve into the reality of Tina's death and Angelica's thoughts and feelings about her preceived part in it. Sweet to see Bette stepping back and letting her daughter share her emotions with them both. Then Fran and Alice's humorous chat had me LOL. GAl,y ou got it all going on. Light and dark, light and dak, baby gal. The natural order of life is prefectly portrayed in this passionate and pleasing piece. I love and adore every word you post. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

I so love Alice....listening, drinking in all the good things Fran said about Bette, loving every word of it...and than cover her own uneasiness by start rambling about herself, I just love that woman. Bette is opening up, she feels that there is no holding back anymore, she tries but it's a lost cause. She is trying to hide for herself how her body reacts on Fran, but how can you deny it when you crave it that much. Fran is more direct with herself, she knows already what Bette presence does to her, she allows her body to long for Bette's but yet at the same time she holds back to protect Bette. Cindy did a wonderful job with Angelica, this sentence again hit me with a brick "sometimes things just happen in life. We don't know why. We cannot explain them. Sometimes we are disappointed, we cry, we find that things happen which are beyond our control." Sometimes we don't even know why we cry, well at least I don't know it, it comes up and it goes and it brings no comfort of or relieve whatsoever. I love how you portray these women, they are so real it's like I can almost look in their heads.
