“Well…if you must know, I do have a few.” Tina kept looking at her, waiting for more and the brunette sighed, shrugging her shoulders, “Women and chocolate.”

Tina raised her eyebrows and the woman added hastily, “Not necessarily in that order,” she opened her purse and took out a ‘Toblerone’ to make her point. She offered some to Tina who accepted it gladly and then chuckled, “Are you one of those people who can eat anything and don’t have to worry about their figure? Because how else can you stay in such a great shape after all the chocolate you consume?”

“Thank you for your kind words but I have to watch my weight. That’s why I like to exercise, mainly swimming and skiing when I have time. And I travel a lot and spend most of my time on my feet…” the brunette replied, taking another sip of her drink.

“Oh…what do you do?”

“I’m a photographer,” the woman dug into her purse again and handed Tina one of her business cards.

“Olivia Stein, photographer…” Tina read the name out loud.

“I’m Olivia…nice to meet you,” the woman stretched her hand and Tina shook it, introducing herself.

“What sort of photography do you do?” Tina asked curiously. “I just began learning about it myself and I’m really interested in taking photographs…another guilty pleasure.”

“I mainly do wild life and sometimes portraits,” Olivia replied somewhat hesitantly as if she wasn’t sure what to say but Tina didn’t noticed the slight pause and began asking some questions.

After a few hours of talking and laughing, they both realized that the bar was mostly empty, though both of their flights were still delayed. Tina noticed that somehow she moved closer to Olivia’s chair and they were speaking softly, almost intimately.

The conversation was flowing easy as if they were old friends, talking about arts, politics, philosophy, literature and movies. Tina felt very comfortable opening up about a few things, though neither of them divulged any personal details about themselves.

It was her flight but suddenly she didn’t feel like going anywhere. She was quite content on staying at the airport for another hour or two, as long as Olivia was there to keep her company.

Olivia looked at her as if she sensed Tina’s hesitation and was about to say something when the loudspeaker came alive again, ‘British Airways Flight 89 to New York en route to Miami will begin boarding in just a few minutes… British Airways Flight 89 to New York en route to Miami will begin boarding in just a few minutes…’

Olivia sighed regretfully and stood up, “This is me…it was really nice to meet you, Tina. I can honestly say that I haven’t had so much fun at the airport in…I never had so much fun while waiting at the airport. Thank you.”

On impulse, Tina leaned forward and gave Olivia a hug, “Thank you…the pleasure was all mine.”

The blonde gave her new friend one last look and smiled sadly, aware that they probably will never see each other again. She felt a strange emptiness as she was walking towards her gate. Olivia wasn’t the first brunette whom Tina wanted to take to bed and ravish for hours. Still, it was different than any of her numerous encounters at the gay bars. She wanted to know more about Olivia and she felt strangely connected to her on some emotional level that she usually kept closed to anyone.

And then there was Samantha…and another attraction. “I’m probably getting some kind of a ‘brunettes’ flu’. Before, it was all about release of energy and about forgetting the past. Now, they all suddenly look so appealing and delectable for more than one reason…well, except that Secret Service Agent who was accompanying me to the airport this morning…Jenny Schmack…Schuster…Schnauzer…whatever. She’s a little weird…nice but weird…” Tina mumbled to herself while waiting in line to get to the front desk.

Tina continued her musings about the brunettes she had met on this trip and was so deep in her thoughts that she didn’t care that her flight was changed to New York, where she had less than an hour to catch another flight to LA.

After long and uneventful flight, Tina was really glad to feel the ground under her feet again. She quickly went through the customs and was hurrying to another gate at the JFK airport, when she noticed something familiar about a woman walking in front her. She stopped, unsure where to go and Tina bumped into her, hypnotized by the way the woman’s body was moving.

“You know,” Olivia said in a low sensual voice, as her arm slipped around Tina waist, preventing her from falling. “I think this is destiny since we keep meeting like this. Where do you live?”

“In D.C. but I have a condo in Los Angeles and I’m going there for a week,” Tina said quietly, embarrassed by her clumsiness.

“What a coincidence…” Olivia laughed throatily and the now familiar sound made Tina shudder with desire to throw the brunette on the floor and ravish her for days. “I have a house in Malibu, though I rarely go there because I travel a lot…so, when is your flight?”

“Um…right now,” Tina replied meekly, unable to keep her eyes away from the gorgeous brunette.

“Are you in a hurry?”

“No, not really…I have a week off and decided to go away from work, from my empty…uh…why?” Tina suddenly felt shy as she was about to tell this stranger some things about herself she never reveal to anyone.

“Would you like to spend a few days in New York with me?” Olivia smiled seductively, gazing deep into Tina’s hazel eyes and finding herself drowning in them.
