if I want to know about the impressionists, I can read the encyclopedia. What happened to using the counterfactual argument to compare the influence all that crap we talked about had on these insane yet brilliant artists? None of what we talked about is in here. You turned it into an exposition of what a high school student could tell me. What's up Porter? The meetings with me are supposed to help guide you and improve things...not fall on deaf ears and have you do the opposite of what we discussed." (Bette looks at her and then looks down. Katherine was at a bit of a loss. She wondered whether maybe Bette was having a difficult time in her personal life and was just acting out.) "Hey, what's wrong? BETTE- "Look, it wasn't as great as you expected...it happens...why are we making such a big deal of it? You always call your students into your office this late to talk about a paper they did that wasn't quite to your liking?"
AYREANA- "No, but I DO call on my research assistants when it's urgent and involves work they're doing for me."

If I don't submit it, you know what happens...it doesn't get published. You know how long I've been working on this. But I can't miss the funeral. Can you please help me?"
BETTE- "Yes...of course."
AYREANA- "Thanks Bette."
BETTE- "How long will it take?"
AYREANA- "Just a couple of hours. You know the drill in terms of submitting the material, so just get that part done tomorrow morning before noon. Ok?"
BETTE- "Sure...not a problem."
AYREANA- "But about your paper.
