BETTE- "Well...I..." (Her cell phone rings and she jumps quickly to answer it.) "Hello. Oh, hi, good morning Professor Bailey. Yes...yes, well we're having breakfast with Professor Ayreana. Yes. Yes. No it's ok. Yes, everything is fine. Oh...ok. Sure, sure...I will.
SABRIANI- "Lizabet?"
BETTE- "Yes. She says hello. If you'll excuse me ladies I have to go. Professor Bailey needs me to do a few things."
SABRIANI- "Of course Bette. Listen, come pick me up for lunch and I go with you and we work on the conference things. Come by about 12 noon."
BETTE- "Oh...ok."
AYREANA- "Bette I'll walk out with you. I needed to talk to you about the article you submitted for me. Angela I'll be right back."
SABRIANI- "Yes ok."
(Bette and Professor Ayreana walk out and the latter steers Bette toward a private area bear the entrance of the cafeteria.)
AYREANA- (She's calm but sounding very concerned...) "Porter what the hec are you doing?"
BETTE- "What do you mean?"
AYREANA- "You get the privilege of working with Professor Bailey and one of her oldest and internationally esteemed colleagues, so you sleep with the visiting professor?"
