"Sorry, something in road." Alice tried to breath normally but it was becoming harder thinking about what Dana was dreaming about, frowning at her lapse in judgement.
'Fuck Alice, get your shit together,' The remainder of the car trip was spent in silence Alice in the front trying to devise a plan to keep herself in check, the athlete laying back on the seat, remembering her dream and smiling,

By the time they'd gotten back into town they were all dead tired, Shane took Dana home first throwing the white Grand Prix into park she leaned back,
"The Planet tomorrow?...9:00?" Dana winced a little,
"I can't I have physical therapy from nine until she's done with me, I can do lunch though...I'll call you?" Shane nodded as Dana stepped out of the car and toward her place, Alice followed motioning Shane to wait a second.
"Hey Dane?" The athlete turned around to look at the writer thinking she'd never seen someone so naturally beautiful, after the day they'd had the brunette was sure she looked like crap but Alice always looked amazing. Dana gave a small smile, she was frustrated with the writer but she couldn't be mean to her.
"Yeah Al?" Alice came within two feet of Dana and the athlete realized this was where they'd shared that first life-changing kiss, Dana secretly wished it would happen again, but after the car incident she was sure it wouldn't. Alice looked at her a little confused,
"About tonight...um, you know it's really my fault and I want to apologize for making you uncomfortable and--"
"I wasn't uncomfortable, I was quite the opposite." Alice nodded quickly,
"Right, look Dane we do need to talk about what's going on here, because we obviously have two very different ideas on what's happening and what's going to happen." Dana's eyebrows lifted, as she gave a breathy disbelieving laugh.
"Ok Alice we can talk, when would you like to do that?" Dana was getting frustrated and it was becoming evident in her posture, Alice reached out and touched her arm, the athlete's frustration melting out of her body with one simple touch.
"I'm sorry Dane, that came out wrong...it's just....something's happening here and I don't want to fall back into--" Shane tapped the horn, Alice turning and motioning for one more second.
"Um...I won't have much time to sit down this week, I'm still getting everything together for this Super Bowl party....that you're welcome to come to by the way...I'll just call you on Monday and we can set something up ok?" Dana nodded yes and Alice gave her a hug that lasted about two minutes too long, Shane tapped the horn again and Alice ran down the stairs yelling goodnight over her shoulder. Dana mumbled as she walked through the front door,
"Yeah goodnight Al,"

Victoria sat lazily in her apartment lifting weights and watching television when her cell phone rang, causing her to jump a little,
"This is Vic," The voice on the other end was soft, but clear.
"Victoria this is Gena, from the rehab center, I was just calling to confirm your nine o' clock appointment tomorrow." Victoria was thrown a little by the odd call,
"Yes 9:00 that's fine...Is Dana not answering her phone?" Gena seemed a little frazzled and confused,
"Um...no... I'm sorry I assumed you two were...together." Victoria's disposition fell a little, though she tried not to express it over the phone.
"No nothing like that, were just close that's all," Silence on the other end, Victoria had to look at her phone to make sure they were still connected.
"Well, um ok I guess I'll see you two tomorrow at 9:00?"
"Tomorrow at nine."

Shane pulled up to Alice's apartment, sighing as she parked,
"Here we are mam" The writer smiled lying back and sighing similar to Shane's moments earlier.
"Ok Shane you're going to help me get all this shit together for Sunday right? We still need to set everything up and make sure these fucking people show." Shane chuckled low,
"Of course Al, just let me know when...Are you good?" Alice looked confused for a moment, still wondering how Shane could read her so well.
"Yeah Shane I guess I'll be fine, it's just this shit with Dana is stressing me ya know. I mean she's talking about some fucking phone call, and I don't have any idea what the fuck she's talking about." Shane stared at the steering wheel wondering if she should tell Alice the message, she waited too long and the writer sat up to leave.
"Whatever, we'll talk about it Monday or whenever I fucking see her, she pops in and out anyway, good night Shane." Alice leaned in to give a still stunned Shane a hug she played it off and mumbled a goodbye as Alice stepped out of the car.
"Get some sleep Shane, you're looking tired or something." Alice waved goodbye and Shane sat there realizing she'd made a horrible mistake.

Yet another great update! I got all excited by just reading the summary and the first scene had me laughing out loud! OMG, I felt so embarassed for Dana!!!! (I had the same feeling watching that awkard sex scene between Dana and Jenny.) Good that Shane realizes that she made a HUGE mistake by erasing the message. :P Dana and Alice will have to talk (I hope it doesn't gets you to depressed wirting that part ;) ) and maybe there is a little Shane intervention needed to get them back together? Looking forward to see Emily in the future, I agree with you, she has great interactions with both of them. :D

Great update! I loved Dana's comment about Alice and Gabby. It was so random, and so Dana! lol The dream was painfully funny. I knew she was going to call out Alice's name. Priceless. Alice needed time to heal after the breakup with Dana. She didn't get over Dana, but she became functional. I'm still torn over Shane's decision.

As always, you didnt' disapoint. You have become one of my main Danish writer's right now. I loved the car scene, and I'm glad she called out Alice's name; it was hilarious. I think that Shane made the right decision, if Dana and Alice would've gotten together then it wouldn't have been healthy for Alice; she needed time to find herself again. Aye, it wasn't Shane's decision to make for that, but it was the right one at that time, IMHO...Well, can't wait for your next chap...(hope it's longer) Cheers mate!!!

I was going to start calling you the daydreamer queen but Dana dreams of Alices in her sleep too, lol. You continue to make me crazy but I must admit, I like it! Not only do you make it hot... you make me laugh as well. The tension that you are building between the two is undeniable. Will the pill-popping athlete do something crazy... and I don't mean dreaming. I see waivering on Alice's part... with that reference to "that woman... Victoria" and things being "ok" with Cliff. She really can't be all that happy. I like to see where you go with the Victoria/Gena connection... there has to be one? LOL! Great update. What did you mean by Cliff will have his day in the sun with Alice? NO! but I do understand his purpose in the story. I love how you give us a little Danish action in each chapter. Totally keeps me on my toes. And if my friends didn't wake me up, I would be pissed. Like they both didn't know that Dana was dreaming about Alice, I mean come on? I love this story. Oh and to address if you should post an update chapter...I think that just mentioning previous chapters is update enough and that people can totally go back and read the others.
