Alice woke to the sound of eggs being made. She went into the kitchen and saw Dana making her breakfast. The night's events had finally sunk in for her and Dana was all hers.

"I didn't know you knew how to cook."

Al, just because I'm a jock doesn't mean I don't know how to cook."

"Okay Emeril, what are you making?"

"You're favorite, eggs, toast, and homemade hash browns."

"Dana, how did you know that?"

"Well you told me one time when your mom was home from the set and in between boyfriends she would make this for you on Sundays. Last time I checked it was Sunday."

"Oh my god Dana, I can't believe you remembered that!"

Alice started to have tears form in her eyes

"Al don't cry."

"No, no there tears of joy. I haven't had this for breakfast in a long time. Dana thank you."

"Your welcome Al, and that's just the beginning."

"I can't believe this your amazing Dana."

"I don't train on Sundays so I'm all yours for the day, what you want to do?"

"I do believe that I have never had the honors of shopping with you."

"Alright shopping it is. I'll clean up here you go get a shower and get ready."

"Okay you sure you don't want any help."

"Nope"

"Shit Dane you don't have anything to wear."

"Yea that's right"

"Problem solved I have a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that you would look totally hot in I'll lay it out for you."

"Okay great. By the way Al, you look cute with bed head."

Alice just blushed and went off to take a shower. Dana was cleaning up and for the first time in her life everything seems just right and was falling into place. She knew that her parents wouldn't take it well because they were so fond of Tonya. They really never liked Alice because they think she is the one who introduced this "lifestyle" to Dana. Which isn't true Dana was always gay. Alice was in the shower and she was thinking about all the fun times she has had with Dana. The one that she remembered the most was when Dana said, "Pussy or Dick make up your mind and spare us the gory bisexual details."  Alice just kinda chucked to herself. She got out of the shower and walked into her bedroom and saw Dana lying on her bed. Somehow that sight just seemed so right to her.

"All yours, I put everything that you need on counter by the sink."

"Thanks Al, you're the best."

Dana walked over to Alice and gave her a little peck on the lips. Dana got a shower and walked out and all Alice could do was stare at her.

"What?"

"It's just my clothes look really great on you, you're a hottie."

Dana blushed a little. "Well thank you. You ready to go?"

"Alright let's go blow some money."

"Hell yea."

The two were having a wonderful day shopping. They went into all the "in" stores. Dana refused to let Alice pay for anything.

"Dana, are you going to let me pay for anything?"

"Let me think? NO!"

"Well I wish you would."

"Now Al, if I were some guy you were dating, you would want him to buy some stuff wouldn't you?"

"Okay first of all Dana, I don't go shopping with guys and second of all you're totally right."

"Ha thought so. Besides I need to spend some of my money anyway."

The girls were finished with their shopping and were walking down to the Planet. They were holding hands and having a great time until they ran into Shane.

"Oh fuck there's Shane, Dana."

"Shit act like nothing is going on."

"Hey Al, Hey Dane." Shane cocked her head and looked at them trying to hide their hands. "Any reason why you guys are holding hands?"

"Well you know Shane, West Hollywood is a dangerous town."

"And I'm a celebrity now so god knows what could happen."

"So I'm holding her hand as aprotective measure."

"See Shane protective measure."

"Okay whatever, you two have fun."

"We will."

They parted ways but not before Shane could yell something to Alice.

"Oh Al I need to talk to you later about something come over to my place at 7."

"Okay Shane."

"Oh come alone, I'm sure Dana has some wedding plans to look over anyway."

"Bye Shane."

Alice and Dana started to walk back to Dana's car rather quickly before any of their other friends saw them.

"Shit Dana that was close."

"Al do you think she knows?"

"It's fucking Shane of course she knows, why you think she told me to come over."

"Fuck Al"

"She's gonna fucking tell me how wrong it was to steal you from Tonya and that it will come back to bite me in the ass later."

"Look Al, I don't fucking care I have you and that's all I need."

"Yea your right Dana so what Shane knows?"

The ride home was a quiet one, but love filled. Dana had one hand on her steering wheel and the other was holding Alice's . They were both a little concerned that Shane might know what was going on. But at the same time they really didn't care. But they had agreed that for a little while it would just be them. Dana pulled into her driveway and they just sat there.

"So Dane what do you want to do."

"Well Al why don't we go and put on our new sweats and lay in my bed and watch movies all afternoon."

"That sounds amazing Dana."

"Thought so.", Dana put her hand on Alice's lap and then gave Alice a little kiss.

They were walking up to the house. Dana was just ahead of Alice and all she could think about how wonderful Dana truly was. Dana has been the only constant in Alice's life since college. Now she was her best friend and her lover all rolled into one. She was amazed at how much Dana remembers about her.
