"I cant believe I'm hearing this its like a fantasy."

Dana got up and walked across the room and sat next to Alice

"So why aren't we together Al.?"

"Well first off your with Tonya and while we are being honest I don't like her Dana. I think she is using you for your fame and money. I know its not what you want to hear but it needed to be said."

"Al I think your right."

"Are you just telling me what I want to hear you are you tell me the truth?"

"It's the truth she wants 15% of my income."

"Wow that's rough Dana"

"Yeah I don't know what I'm going to do."

"Dana would it be okay if I kissed you?"

Dana got this huge grin on her face and said, "Yes"

The kiss started out slow and then it became passionate their soft lips caressed each other. Alice started to explore Dana's low lip with her tongue. Dana opened her mouth as to say come on Alice, come and explore. Everything seemed just right. Neither of them could have been happier. Then all of a sudden Dana pulled away.

"Dana what's wrong, did I do something wrong"

"No, you were amazing I just got a glance at the time and its getting late I need to get home."

"Oh okay"

"Don't worry Alice this was great, things will be okay I promise.

Some how Alice knew that it would be okay, because Dana gave her a dorky Dana smile.

Alice sat back down trying to figure out what Dana had exactly meant by the smile. She didn't really care she just shared an amazing kiss with the woman she loved. She loved Dana; it finally hit her really hard. She wasn't bisexual cause the only person she wanted was Dana.

Dana thought all the way home. God Alice was amazing tonight, she looked gorgeous and that kiss was totally hot. Oh my god I love Alice. Dana said those words out loud and she then knew who she wanted to be with and that was Alice. She knew it would be hard with Tonya, but she knew she had to do. It wasn't fair to all three of them. It had to be just twoAlice and Dana. She pulled into her driveway and prepared herself for what she was about to do. She opened the door and went up stairs to her bedroom. Tonya was lying on the bed.

"Hi sweetie"

"Hi Tonya"

"How was your night honey?"

"It was okay. Look Tonya we need to talk"

"What's wrong Dana?"

"Look Tonya I can't marry you."

"WHAT! WHY?"

"Because"

"I..I love someone else"

"Who"

"Al.Alice"

"I fucking can't believe this!"

"Tonya look I'm sorry, we didn't realize how serious it was until just recently"

"You two fucked tonight didn't you?"

No, we didn't we just talked honestly about how we felt."

"You'll regret this Dana Fairbanks, trust me you will and don't think you can come crawling back to me.

Tonya stormed out, leaving Dana alone hopefully forever. Dana stood there in shock in 5 hours her life has completely changed. All Dana could do was lie down on her bed and cry. She really didn't know why she was crying, she didn't love Tonya. Dana was looking for love and found it in the wrong place. Tonya didn't want Dana's love just her money. Dana felt so stupid finally realizing it. She fell asleep and dreamed about Alice she woke up at 3:30am and decided she needed to talk and went over to Alice's apartment.

Alice was fast asleep dreaming of Dana. They were shopping, holding hands, not caring who saw them. The heavenly dream was interrupted by the buzzing of her intercom. She got out of bed to go answer it.

"This better not be fucking kids playing around or I'll be pissed."

Alice pushed the button to talk.

"If this is a bunch of kids I'm coming down there and spanking you like your parents should be!"

"Al it's me"

"Dana?"

"Yea, I need to talk to you."

"It's 4 am."

"Yea well now you know how it feels are you doing to let me in or what."

"Yea" Alice pushed the button to let Dana in and waited for her at the door.

Alice wondered what was going on, she thought she knew. Dana couldn't have left Tonya, there's no way. They probably just had a fight or something. Alice was more confused now then the day she had kissed Dana. She hoped whatever Dana needed to talk about was good news but even if it wasn't she would support her cause Dana is her best friend and that's what friends do despite their feelings. Alice heard the door knock and answered it.

"Hi Alice"

"Hey Dane"

"Can we sit and talk"

"Yea sure Dana is everything okay."

The two walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. They just started at each other for a few minuets before saying anything. Dana took Alice's hand.

"Al I broke it off with Tonya."

"What, Dana"

"Al, the thing with Tonya, that wasn't love. That was gratitude masquerading as love. It wasn't real. I can't believe I let it get that far. Al, I want to be with you. I know it sounds crazy but I love you."

"No it's not crazy at all Dana, I can really relate. I've dated around with both women and men but all the time I kept comparing them to you, that's why they never worked out. I wish I had the balls to say something so much sooner but I didn't. I didn't want to end up together like this. I've loved you for the longest time, and the thought of you marring someone other than me..it crushed me.

"Oh Al." Dana leaned over and kissed Alice

"Wow that gets better every time."

The two of them just started at each other and smiled. They couldn't have been happier.

"So where do we go from here Al."
