Alice had been sitting on her couch with Tina for several hours. With her phone unplugged and cell off she knew eventually one if not all of her friends would come looking.  Alice really hadn't done much to comfort Tina but then she really didn't think Tina wanted to talk; besides Alice was in deep thought of her own.

 "Fuck Alice what did you do! I'm so low I could have had her anytime before but why now, she has someone, and she's getting married. Was I jealous? No, I have always loved her..always."

Alice was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the intercom buzz. She seriously thought about not answering it, but knew she had to. She heard that it was Shane and became some what relaxed. She let Shane into her apartment.

"Al what's the deal we haven't seen you or Tina all morning?"

"Sshhh!" Alice motioned Shane to follow her.

The two walked into the living-room and Shane saw Tina on the couch, sleeping but looking exhausted and deeply depressed.

"What the fuck happened to her?" Shane said rather loudly

Once again Alice said "Sshhh!", and motioned to Shane to go to the kitchen.

"Bette cheated on her with that carpenter Candice."

"Holy shit Al, I didn't think Bette was capable of that she loves Tina"

"Me neither, I came home last night and there she was sitting on my sofa and has been there ever since."

"Hello Shane" Both Alice and Shane turned to hear the voice coming from the living room

"Oh Hi Tee", Shane acting like she knew nothing.

"I suppose you know"

"Yeah Alice just told me I'm really sorry Tina"

"Yea, me too."

"Well I was on my way to the Planet, you guys up?"

"Yea I'll go I need to shower first, you head out awhile and I'll meet you there"

"Great I'll see you there Alice"

"Tee you coming too?"

"Maybe but don't count on it."

"Well alright I'll see you later"

All through her shower and getting ready she had Dana on the brain. She finally did what she has been wanting to do for years.  It was better than she could have ever imagined. Dana's soft lips on hers, she never realized how beautiful they were until just then. It was amazing how they just seemed to just fuse together, and wow man Dana is a great kisser.

"I'm gonna go Tina, will you be okay."

"Yes I'll be fine I talked to my parents I'm going to stay with them for a little."

"Okay Tina, but you know you can stay here too if you want?"

"I know but I need some time away so I'll probably get a shower and then go."

"Okay I laid everything out for you."

"Thanks Alice, for everything."

"No problem Tina, stop by the Planet if you feel up to it."

"Okay, Maybe."

"Bye Tina, oh and everything will be okay."

"I hope so.

Alice walked into the Planet and searched for Shane, she saw her with Tonya

"Fuck I can't deal with her not after the other night."

While Alice was ordering Dana walked in and sat with the rest. Alice tried to get out without anyone seeing her but she was unsuccessful. Tonya had seen her and called her over.

"Hey guys." Alice said this as cheerfully as she could and set her coffee down

"Hey Al"

" Look Shane I know I said I would stay but after you left I realized that I have a story due in a few days and I need to get cracking on it"

"Oh well okay Al"

"See you guys later"

"Bye"

"Clumsy her she forgot her coffee", Tonya picking up the coffee

"I'll go give it to her" Dana snatched the cup and ran after Alice.

"Alice, Alice, wait up!"

"What!" Alice yelled not realizing it was Dana

"Oh...umm.Hi"

"You forgot your coffee"

"Oh, shit. Thanks"

"So when we going to talk about this Al"

"About what"

"Jesus Al, come on you going to just make up lame ass excuses to avoid me the rest of your life?"

"No!"

"Well then we really need to talk about this."

"Okay how about my place at say 6"

"Okay"

Alice got in her mini and put her head on the wheel

"Fuck why did I just invite her over to my house that was stupid."

As much as Alice tried to convince herself it was stupid she realized that Dana was hers for the night and without Tonya so this could possibly be good. Alice rushed home and cleaned freakishly fast she hadn't had much time it was already 3.

The intercom buzzed and made Alice jump a little

"Shit that can't be Dane already."

Alice glanced at the clock, 6 on the dot. Alice made last minute preparations and buzzed Dana in.

"Remember Alice, Dana has been over millions of times this time isn't any different expect your spilling your guts on the floor."

Dana standing outside of Alice's apartment was also nervous. She was attracted to Alice also but didn't think that she would ever have a chance with her.

"Shit do I tell her how I feel? What about Tonya? Who do I really love? Fuck what am I getting my self into. Well there's no going back now"

Alice heard a soft knock on her door and her heart began to race. Dana could hear Alice coming down the hall, and was starting become uneasy.

"Hi Al"

"Hey Dane"

"Come in, would you like something to drink?"

"Water would be great"

"I took the liberty of making some dinner I hope you haven't eaten yet."

"No. Wow that's great what did you make."

"Well I kinda make some of it I bought grilled fish in light vinaigrette and I made some rice"

"Wow I'm impressed usually you go for the unhealthy food"

"I know your training and all."

"Well thanks Al"

The two had a lovely dinner. They talked about what was going on in the world around them. They both were avoiding talking about what they had planned to. While cleaning up Dana brushed up against Al by accident, which caused the discussion to begin.

"Al what's going on with us?"

"I..I.don't know."

"I think we both do, we just need to be honest, don't you think so Al"

"Yea, why don't we go talk about this in the living room"

The two went into the living room and sat on opposite sides of the room. There was a small awkward silence, and then Alice started to talk

"I'll start since I pretty much provoked it"

"Al face it, it started long before we ever kissed and you know it."

"Yea your right Dana it did."

"The why didn't you say something."

"I didn't want to lose you as my best friend. I need you, you're my rock Dana. And I thought I wasn't good enough for you. So I figured the more I ignored it the better things would be. And it was going good until you came out and started dating. Then it got hard."

"Why Al."

"Cause I could only ever picture you with me."

Alice saw Dana's eyes light up and realized that Dana felt the same.

"Look Al it wasn't only you, I kissed you back.
