Alice opens her mouth to speak but I give her a withering look.
"No Alice - leave it - I wasn't boring Tina -we were chatting - enough okay ?"
Alice looks me in the eyes "Yes - sorry Madam President "
"Sorry Madam President " Dana looks rueful.
"Alright - drop it - just turn it down the pair of you "
The others start coming across to our table and I'm handed the copy of my speech - as always Valerie and Jen have produced words that dance off the page in delight dying to be uttered.
TUESDAY 8AM
I've been at my desk since 7am - wearing jog bottoms and a sweater - my sports bag is on a chair and my business suit is in a clothes bag on the back of a door.
Lara comes in " The Press Secretary "
She opens the door wider for Tina to walk in - she's wearing jog trousers and a white Harvard tee-shirt. I collect my gear and we atke the ten minute walk to the female changing rooms - empty - well I am the President..
We have a good hard game - as I suspected there is too much of a competitive streak in Tina to ever give me a sniff of a win. She beats me two games to none - I win 5 points in the first game and 4 in the second - I'm crushed but its been a lot of fun.
"That was a great cardio workout Tina - I feel great "
"I enjoyed it as well Madam President "
"Can we play again Tina ?"
"Certainly "
We reach the changing rooms - its only when I'm downing a bottle of water and glance across do I realize that Tina is about to use the showers. Okay - so that's perfectly normal. And my business suit is hanging up - so I'm obviously planning to use the shower as well.
Okay - HELP ME - I do not know how I'm going to control my passions for her if I see more than a couple of millimeters of her soft, edible skin.
