Chapter 2

Dana is running back and forth hitting the ball, while Tina takes the pictures she needs.

Then its time for the portraits. Shane does some more hair and make up and shes ready.

About two hours later they were finished.

Dana spots someone on the top of the stands. She waves.

Tina notice Danas wave so she turns around. She almost drops her camera when she sees whos there.

Ill be right over. Dana shouts.

Shane notice Tinas reaction but doesnt say anything until Dana leaves.

Hey, Tina is it possible for me to see the pictures before you hand them over to Womens Fitness? Dana asks. Tina snaps out of her thoughts.

Yeah, I could come by tomorrow, before Im meeting WF. If you are here? Tina says.

Yes, that would be good. Im here from noon to about three. Dana replies.

Okay, see you then. Tina says. Dana leaves and runs for the stands and the stands where Bette is standing.

Hey, Tina, whats up with you? Shane asks.

Up with me? What do you mean? Tina asks.

You looked like you was about to loose your tongue earlier when you looked at that women up there. Shane says.

I can tell you that I did almost loose my tongue. I flipped through the channels at home yesterday when I noticed this woman on the TV, it was a golf tournament. And the winner was one Bette Porter. She was just beautiful, I havent seen anyone so beautiful in my life. And then they interviewed her, and the voice I cant explain it, she just took my breath away. Tina says and smiles.

And that women you saw last night, shes? Shane says and tilt her head over towards Dana.

Yes, thats the one. Tina smiles and continues to pack her gear down.

Well, you should introduce yourself to her then. Shane suggests.

Oh, no. Besides I dont think shes gay. Tina says.

How do you know? Shane asks.

Well, I just know. Tina says. Lets just get out of here. Tina says and starts walking towards the stands. Shane follows and smiles to herself.

They get inside, and there she stands talking to Dana, theyre laughing. Tina cant help but stare a little. She tries to get through the room fast. Dana spots her.

See you tomorrow Tina. She shouts. Tina turns around and smiles.

Yes, see you tomorrow. Tina says and turns again and walks out.

Bette turns and looks at the blonde woman. Wow she thought to herself. After Tina left she turns to Dana.

Who was that? Bette asks. That was Tina Kennard, shes a photographer, and she did my shoot. Dana replies.

Okay. Bette says.

What? Dana asks sensing that Bette wants to ask more.

What? I just wanted to know. Nothing more. Bette replies.

Dana smiles.

She was beautiful wasnt she? Dana asks nudging into Bette.

Dana, Im straight remember. But yes, she was beautiful. Bette answers and smiles a little.

Yeah, everyone is straight till theyre not. Dana replies.

Bette gives her a grin.

Besides, how do you know that she is gay? Bette asks.

Well, my gaydar is tuned in better now. So I think she is. Dana says smiling. Well lets get lunch. Shall we? Dana says and walks into the club restaurant.

In Tinas car:

So Tina, did you see her looking at you? Shane asks and smiles.

Yeah. Tina replies. Deep in thought.
