Chapter 1

Tina Kennard is home in her apartment, cleaning her cameras. She turns on the TV, and she flips through the channels. Suddenly there is something that catches her eye. Normally Tina wouldve kept on switching. What caught her eye was a woman, tanned, big brown eyes, long curled hair, shes holding a golfclub. Shes discussing with a man, and then she swings the club and the ball flies up in the air and lands very close to the pin. The tv beauty smiles.

Oh my god what a smile Tina thinks to herself.

Theres a knock on the door.

Its open. Tina shouts out.

Hey Alice. Tina says, still looking at the TV.

Hey, what are you watching? Alice asks as she sees Tina totally focused on the TV.

Im watching golf. Tina replies in a tone that you would think she did that all the time.

TK, golf? What has gotten in to you? You hate sports. Alice says and takes a seat next to her, and then she sees what Tina is watching, and its defiantly not golf. She smiles to herself.

Look at her Al, shes beautiful. Tina says and smiles.

Yeah, but what are the chances that you two will ever meet? Alice asks.

I know, but I can look, and I can dream, cant I? Tina asks and turn her attention to Alice.

So whats up? She asks.

Well, my editor and I was wondering if you are available tomorrow? Alice asks.

Yeah, tomorrow I am, what did you have in mind? Tina asks and continues to clean her camera.

Im doing a story on the West Hollywood Center for Social Services. And Im interviewing Oscar, hes in charge down there. We need some photos. Alice says.

Sure, Ill be there, when? Tina asks.

At 9. Alice replies.

Okay, what kind of photos do you want? Tina asks

Just some of the Center and how they work and then some of Oscar. Alice replies.

Yep, okay. Tina says.

So you wanna meet for breakfast tomorrow morning before the shoot? Alice asks.

I dont think Ill make it. I have much work to do. I have many photos to develop before tomorrow afternoon. Tina replies.

Okay, Ill see you tomorrow at 9 then. Alice says and walks out.

Tina turns her attention back to the TV where Bette Porter is ready for an interview.

TV Interview:

Ms. Bette porter, congratulations. He says.

Thank you very much. Bette replies.

That last pitch on the 18th hole was amazing. He says.

Yeah, I was lucky on that one. Bette says smiling.

You seemed to have control from day one, did it seem like that to you? Tv guy asks.

Yes, I had control of my own game. Everything was just perfect, my irons were a dream, they did exactly what I told them to do. And its easy when you have that. Bette replies.

Well congratulations again, and good luck in the US Open in two weeks. Tv guy says.

Thank you. Bette replies and smiles and then leaves the screen.

Wow, wish I could meet her, dont know what I would say to her but Tina thinks to herself.

Bettes hotel room:

Theres a knock on the door. Bette gets up and opens it.

Hey, John, come in. She says.

Hey, I just stopped by to wish you a good vacation, and to tell you not to miss your training. John says smiling.

Yeah, I know, I will train every day, dont worry. Bette says smiling back at him.

Yeah well, You played really good, congratulations Bette. John says and gives Bette a hug.

Thank you John. Bette replies.

Ill see you next week, have a good vacation. John says and leaves.

Bette is left alone, shes tired so she jumps into bed. Shes leaving for home tomorrow, back to Los Angeles for a week.

Los Angeles:

The next day Tina meets Alice at the Center in West Hollywood. Tina parks the car and bring her equipment inside.

Hey, TK over here. Alice shouts out.
