Chapter 54

These past two years have been challenging. We have found out just how strong our love is, and how to keep the flame burning when everything seems to be falling apart. Our lack of communication almost broke us up, but we pulled through, we got those lines open again. My love for you is growing every minute, I didnt think it was possible, but I guess I was wrong. Bette takes a break, tears of happiness runs down her cheek. Tina moves her thumb to Bettes face and wipes them away. Bette continues You are more beautiful now than when I first met you. You fulfill me, you bring the light into my eyes, youre my engine, without I would not be able to run. Its powerful, the love I feel for you. I love you so much that it hurts sometimes. And I am forever grateful to you for bringing Angelica into my life. She is the bright star of our life. Tina I love you. Bette finishes and place the ring on Tinas finger.

Tina is in tears. Baby, please dont cry. Bette says smiling and wiping some of the tears away.

Bette, today has been the third happiest day of my life. The first being when I married you the first time, the second being the birth of Angel. Today you have swept me off my feet, I feel like Im walking on clouds. Tears are starting to fall, but Bette is quick to wipe them away.

Weve been thrown a lot of obstacles our way, sometimes I felt like I couldnt take anymore, but then I thought about you and our love. That love can conquer anything and everything. Theres not a dry eye around, even Jeffrey and Sean is wiping away tears.

You may kiss the bride. Alice shouts out, which make everyone laugh.

Bette leans in, her forehead against Tinas, they look into each other eyes. Feeling each others love, then Bette moves in and places a passionate kiss on Tinas lips.

I love you. Bette says between the kisses. They lean their foreheads against each other again.

I cant believe this day, Im so happy. Tina whispers, she then pulls Bette into a warm, loving and tight hug. Tears still dripping.

Are you ready for more? Bette carefully says. Tina breaks away.

Theres more? Tina says almost in shock.

Yep, one more thing. Bette says and smiles at Tina with a wink of her eye. Everyone stood around waiting for the next surprise that Bette had put together.

What? Dont leave me hanging here. Tina says in a playful voice.

Well, we sort of got married here, didnt we, so that leaves the honeymoon. Bette says with a huge smile on her face waiting for Tinas reaction. Tinas jaw dropped to the floor.

Baby? Tina asks. Not quite sure if she heard right.

Yes, You and me and Angelica leaves tomorrow morning. I want to bring Angelica because this is sort of our start, a start without bad things. So I want to bring her. Bette says and smiles.

Oh baby, I love you. Tina says and jumps into another kiss.

Where are we going? Tina asks after a few moments.

I remembered that you once said that you used to dream about going to Norway when you were a kid, after reading a book about mountains and lakes, and seeing pictures from there. So I have booked a two week trip to Norway. Bette says.

Oh my God, I cant believe you remembered that. That was when we just got to know each other, I cant believe you remember that. Tina says surprised and she leans in for more kisses. I love you, God how I love you. Tina says and pulls Bette into another hug. Thank you. Tina whispers into Bettes ear.

The guests has left and Bette and Tina are alone, theyre in the bedroom packing. They have an early flight tomorrow morning.
Hey, wait, what about work? Tina asks.

Its all taken care of. Oscars in on it too. He loved the idea, and wanted us to get sometime to ourselves, just us three as a family. Bette says. We havent really had any time to be just us, since I cant remember the last time. I need to be alone with you, without Alice hanging over our shoulders. And off course Angelica, Just us three, celebrating our family. That is what this day has been about. Bette says.

Yeah. Tina agrees and smiles as she leans in for a kiss.

Their able to pack almost everything before sleeps takes over both their bodies.

I didnt plan on sleeping tonight. Bette says as she lay down on the bed reaching out her hand to Tina, who snuggles down close to Bette.

We have the rest of our lives to do that. We need rest, its a long flight tomorrow and theres the time different of 9 hours. Tina says as she also close her eyes.

Yeah, well then Ill just hold you close all night. Bette whispers into Tinas ear.
